i am really shocked and surprised by this story.this is a complete travesty of justice.i am at a loss of words – knowing the person involved is a very good person.if the facts of the case is as is being reported in the local media(in US),then i believe justice and common sense should be made to prevail.we will continually give u our moral support and do something in our own small way to get justice.be strong and know that there are good people aiming at doing something to get a fair trial.Rest NOT!Saviola!!
First of all I would like to say that it is very sad to see another black man in jail. There are more black men in jail then any other race. Our tax money are also been used for new prisons because there aren’t enough prisons for all the people being convicted. It is such a shame that America has now become a land of many types of racism and scandals including false accusations. Even though the American law system states that everyone accused or arrested is innocent until proven guilty, it is not always the case. I think they need to change that document around to GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN INNOCENT because what they are doing to this young man is strictly unfair not only to him but to all the other immigrants in America who are here trying to make the best of their lives.
This guy is innocent and the jury and everyone know that but because they are trying to look for someone to make an example out of, they choose this innocent black man. I am very much aware that if the accused rapist were to be white, this matter would have been resolved much faster and that he wouldn’t be spending the amount of years Frimpong will be spending in jail.

this whole Saviola thing came as a very big surprise to me in my capacity as someone who has known Saviola back at the University like my A,B,C,D…we played football together in Queens Hall at the KNUST, We all know including his accusers that Saviola will not hurt even a fly. He was a Civil Engineering Student in KNUST before he was poached to help the very country that is accusing him of a crime he did not commit, to improve their football. All my boy believes in is his football, something no one does better than him and he takes it so religiously. I pray God touches the conscience of all his accusers and prosecutors to revisit this case and let proper justice be done; they owe it a moral duty to do so.

I just finished reading his story in ESPN The Magazine. I have never felt so mad reading a story in my life. His DNA not on the victim, another suspect with more evidence against him, the accusers boyfriend none the less not even questioned or named a suspect or even person of interest, who testified to feeling “jealous” of seeing this Jane Doe with Eric. Add to that the accuser was almost lethally drunk that night, couldnt keep her story straight, detectives not letting the court know about the other bite analysiss that contradicted their story, and another one who said the victims boyfriend is more likely the cause of the teeth marks.
I could go on and on with all of this evidence that paints him as not guilty. No evidence presented in the article would make me as a juror believe that within a shadow of a doubt this young man commited this crime. The sad part of all this is, a young woman was raped, a horrible crime commited and yet the person who did it is still walking free to do it again, while an innocent person is behind jail because of the color of his skin and jurors wanted to finish the trial up to get home for Christmas. I am sad to be an American after reading stories like this.
